Diana Fields specializes in the area of general and complex commercial litigation.  She has served as lead counsel in state and federal trial and appellate cases and in administrative proceedings.  She has handled contract, tort, and civil fraud litigation, construction law disputes, trade secret litigation, employment litigation, and banking and securities litigation.  In the early 1990s, she served as an outside-counsel member of a Special Work-Out Asset Team for the Resolution Trust Corporation, handling large and problem credits for its Phoenix office.  Ms. Fields also has represented corporate clients and senior management in a broad range of employment law matters, including advising on discipline and terminations and the enforcement of covenants not to compete, drafting employment contracts and separation agreements, conducting sexual harassment training and investigations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. 

Ms. Fields graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1982, with honors, and from the University of Denver, College of Law in 1985, where she was an author for and editor of the Law Review and a member of the moot court team that was a finalist in the regional and semi-finalist in the national ABA moot court competitions.  Prior to joining Johnson & Repucci LLP, Ms. Fields practiced law with the national law firm of Kutak Rock where she was a partner, member of the management committee, national policy board, and recruiting committee, and a co-chair of the national employment law practice group. 

Ms. Fields has been a frequent presenter at industry and continuing legal education seminars.  She is a graduate of the Leadership Boulder program and is active in pro bono and community matters involving, among other things, public education and political issues.  Ms. Fields and her husband live in Boulder with their two children and have owned small businesses and real estate investments in the Rocky Mountain region.  She is an avid trail runner and Nordic skate skier.
